Garth Brooks is packing his bags and bidding farewell to Nashville, citing a lack of respect as his primary reason for leaving the city. The country music legend, known for hits like “Friends in Low Places” and “The Dance,” expressed his frustration with the Nashville music scene in a candid statement to the press.
“I’ve poured my heart and soul into this city, but I feel like I’m not getting the respect I deserve,” Brooks said. “I’ve given everything to Nashville, but it’s time for me to move on.”
