Tim Allen has agreed to appear in seven episodes alongside Roseanne Barr in her upcoming comedy series.

Roseanne Barr has made a triumphant return to television, showing no signs of slowing down and expressing gratitude to those who supported her throughout her journey. While the future remains uncertain for the cast and crew of “The Conners,” her longtime friend Tim Allen, who once filmed his show “Home Improvement” on the same Des Moines soundstage as “Roseanne,” has committed to appearing in seven episodes of her new series, “Raising the Barr.”

“I’m excited to be a part of her comeback,” Allen remarked. “She wields considerable influence in Hollywood right now, and I consider myself fortunate to be on her side.”

In Hollywood, the spotlight can shift quickly, with the current top newsmaker holding significant sway for a brief period. For someone as influential as Roseanne Barr, these moments can make or break careers.

“I pleaded with her to give me an opportunity,” shared Lacy Goransen. “But she just kept telling me to ‘go away, Becky.’ It felt incredibly unfair.”

The family of the actor who portrayed Mark in the original series expressed dismay at the decision to have Roseanne’s character die from an opioid overdose, mirroring the fate of their real-life family member.

“It feels like they’ve taken our story,” they lamented. They are pursuing legal action against the network, seeking $500 million in damages and an official apology.

Production on the new show is scheduled to begin this autumn, offering a fresh start for Roseanne Barr and her fans
