Garth Brooks arrived at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk and Rock n Roll Steak House right on time for his usual reservation. Renowned for its prime rib, Brooks has previously dubbed it “the best in Nashville.”
However, this visit took an unexpected turn when Kid Rock himself made a surprise appearance. “As the owner, I’m afraid I’ll have to ask you to leave. This establishment is reserved for assholes,” Kid Rock bluntly stated, alluding to Brooks’ past comment where he claimed half of America fits that description.
Brooks left quietly, witnesses noting an evident emotional strain. Tears welled in his eyes as he departed, clearly affected by the encounter.
When contacted, Brooks responded from Sizzler, claiming it was far superior to Kid Rock’s eatery. Dismissing Kid Rock’s allegations, Brooks insisted he had only visited once out of curiosity about the Detroit-native’s venture in Nashville.
“The place reeked of Axe Body Spray and trouble,” Brooks remarked. “I popped in, had a Bud Light, and left. Anything else he says is pure fiction.”
Kid Rock intends to release surveillance footage to support his account.
